Dr. Gyem Dorji is the first anatomist in Bhutan and serves as both founding Dean of faculty and as the Head of the Department of Anatomy. Dr. Gyem completed his MBBS degree form Sylhet Medical College, Bangladesh and has MD in Anatomy from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Bangladesh. Dr. Gyem brings in vast experience in the medical education which sir’s guidance and expertise will be invaluable to the MBBS students.

Dr. Kipchu Tshering serves as the first Dy. Dean of Student Affairs and as the Head of Department of Pharmacology. Dr. Kipchu completed his MBBS degree from Sylhet Medical College, Bangladesh and has MD in Pharmacology from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Bangladesh. Dr. Kipchu brings in years of experience in medical education which his expertise will greatly benefit the students of MBBS.

Dr. Sonam Chhoden R serves as the first Dy. Dean of Academic Affairs and Head of Department of Biochemistry. Dr. Sonam Chhoden has completed her MBBS degree from University of Kelaniya, Sri- lanka and completed her MD in Biochemistry from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Bangladesh. Dr. Sonam brings in years of experience in medical education field which the students will greatly benefit from.
